Inspiration: Inspiration from our own environment and climate change concerns.
What it does: It checks for Fuel stations near current location, give data about the type of fuel availability, each fuels' CO2 emission rate in accordance to the vehicle type, few other helpful details and a way to navigate directly with the link to the suitable fuel station.
How we built it: Fetched and integrated data from Inrix's fuel station API and worked on developing an application with flask which can be a good additional figure for e-vehicle apps or as a standalone app.
Challenges we ran into: Faced difficulties in integrating large amount of data for the project
Accomplishments that we're proud of: The Brands and the Live wait times for each Fuel Station
What we learned: How to work efficiently with large amount of data and making it location specific and time management.
What's next for EcoFuel: CO2 emission rate can be used for the users to learn and choose better fuel for their vehicle and ways to contribute to a Greener and safer environment.
