Inspiration The inspiration behind EcoEats comes from the desire to empower individuals facing economic challenges to access nutritious food options efficiently. With increasing food prices and varying dietary needs, there's a growing need for a tool that combines affordability with health-conscious choices. EcoEats aims to alleviate the stress of grocery budgeting while promoting sustainable and healthy eating habits.

What it does SDG 2: Zero Hunger By helping users manage their grocery budgets effectively, EcoEats contributes to reducing food insecurity and hunger, especially among those on tight budgets.

SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being (indirectly impacted) EcoEats promotes good health by accommodating dietary preferences, allergies, and health conditions, ensuring users make informed choices about their nutrition.

SDG 4: Quality Education (indirectly impacted) By promoting nutritional education, supporting financial literacy through effective budget management, and fostering inclusivity in accessing healthy food choices.

EcoEats is an AI-powered app that allows users to create grocery lists within their budget constraints. It accommodates dietary preferences, allergies, and health conditions, providing personalized recommendations for cost-effective grocery items. The app compares prices from nearby stores in real-time, suggesting the most affordable options that meet the user's nutritional needs. Additionally, EcoEats offers meal planning suggestions based on purchased items to promote balanced nutrition.
