Inspiration

The rising environmental impact of blockchain technology, coupled with fraud in DeFi ecosystems and limited educational accessibility, inspired us to create EcoDefiX. We envisioned a solution that not only promotes sustainability but also fosters trust and equity in blockchain adoption worldwide.

What it does

EcoDefiX integrates sustainability, security, and accessibility into a single platform. It optimizes blockchain energy consumption, tracks environmental metrics in real time, detects fraud in DeFi transactions, and provides personalized blockchain education through decentralized learning resources.

How we built it

EcoDefiX is powered by a Specialized Language Model (SLM) trained on blockchain datasets, mining logs, and emissions data. It incorporates Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to fetch real-time data such as energy prices and market trends. The system processes this data using AI-driven analytics to provide actionable insights, reports, and recommendations via an intuitive dashboard.

Challenges we ran into

  • Energy Efficiency: Optimizing mining processes without compromising computational integrity was a significant hurdle.
  • Data Integration: Merging diverse datasets, such as blockchain logs and renewable energy metrics, into a coherent framework required advanced modeling techniques.
