  SparkHacks Design Thinking Recipe-ecoChoice

Inspiration

Inspired by climate change, we wanted to create an app that would help the environment. Most of us aren't aware that our daily decisions affect the environment one way or another, ecoChoice could change that.

What it does

When the user first opens ecoChoice, they will be presented with an about us page and why we created ecoChoice. After the About Us page, the user would then be presented with a series of questions related to energy consumption, diet, and consumerism. After the user takes the quiz we will present them with some suggestions that would not only help them but the environment. This would help the user be informed of the daily choices they make every day that affects the environment.

How we built it

We built it with Figma.

Challenges we ran into

For making this app this was our first time using Figma, and although it was a little confusing at first, we quickly grasped how to make ecoChoice.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of making somewhat of an app in a short amount of time, as well as finishing it.

What we learned

We learned how to use Figma, and how to use it to make an app.

What's next for ecoChoice

We hope that ecoChoice will eventually become an app, and maybe later down the road, we can include recipes for our users with the ingredients they have at home.
