Inspiration
We all enjoy the game of chess and we wanted to make something fun that matched our theme and passion.
What it does
It connects the Users to a server where they can play our unique version of chess with customizable pieces and board layout.
How we built it
We started by brainstorming and general game design to nail down some of the details. We then wrote a back-end to drive the game and connected it to the front-end using python's Flask and React. Auth0 was used for logins to play the game.
Challenges we ran into
- Dealing with DNS
- Connecting front and back-end
- Tiredness
- Settling on game mechanics
