What it does: "EcoChart" is a web based application designed to help individuals track, reduce, and offset their environmental footprint. It provides users with tools and information to make eco-friendly choices in their daily lives. The website offers a user-friendly interface, educational content, and practical features.
How we built it: "EcoChart" is an innovative web-based environmental tracking application designed to empower individuals to make eco-friendly choices in their daily lives. The project encompasses a cohesive and visually appealing user interface, complete with a distinct logo, and a nature-inspired color scheme. It incorporates a robust database structure to store user profiles, challenges, and environmental tracking data efficiently, utilizing MySQL as the database system. The front-end is developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with interactive features for data tracking, challenge participation, and educational content. The back end is powered by Node.js and Express.js, handling user registration, login, data submission, and challenge management. The project prioritizes bug resolution, user feedback integration, and regular updates to provide users with a seamless and evolving environmental tracking experience.
