Inspiration

In our research, we explored natural cooling processes and discovered transpiration—a phenomenon in plants where water absorption leads to the release of water vapor. This endothermic process cools the surrounding environment. We were inspired by the effective cooling systems of leaves. We wanted to make a product that is eco-friendly and solves a common problem.

What it does

Our product converts the uncomfortable sweat by creating a cooling effect. We made the different layers based on the structure of a leaf.

Challenges we ran into

Our main challenge was determining how and where transpiration would occur while ensuring the product remained both comfortable and functional. We also found it difficult to find an appropriate material to use.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating a product that can benefit society and a way to help the environment.

What we learned

We learned to use simple biology concepts for creating a product that can benefit society and the environment. We learned to think outside the box and use our creativity skills.

What's next for Ecobreeze

We are planning to talk to different manufacturers about our product. We want to learn about how we can make it better and bring it out to the people.
