Ecobite Inspiration EcoBite was inspired by the growing concern over excessive packaging waste in food delivery and the need for convenient, sustainable solutions for both consumers and businesses.

What it does EcoBite allows users to customize their food delivery packaging by choosing eco-friendly options like compostable or minimal packaging, while rewarding them for making sustainable decisions. Businesses can also improve their reputation through sustainable practices.

How we built it We developed EcoBite using Figma for UI/UX design, incorporating features for customizable packaging and clear sustainability metrics, and leveraging research into sustainable packaging solutions for both users and businesses.

Challenges we ran into One major challenge was finding a solution that effectively addresses the needs of both businesses and consumers. Striking a balance between practicality for businesses and convenience for consumers was difficult. Additionally, making our solution innovative while specifically targeting food delivery packaging rather than general waste proved challenging. As a result, we spent significant time on research, defining the problem, and ideation, which left us with less time to design the prototype.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We’re proud of how we managed to define the problem, conduct thorough research, and develop a working solution in under 2 days with just 3 team members. Despite the time constraints, we were able to create a concept that addresses both business and consumer needs effectively.

What we learned We learned the importance of better time management, especially in balancing research, ideation, and wireframing. Prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently will be key for future projects.

What's next for EcoBite Next, we plan to focus on further user testing and iteration to refine the solution based on feedback, ensuring that it meets the needs of both consumers and businesses while improving its overall usability.
