Inspiration
As high school students, we understand the difficulty of finding volunteer opportunities. We designed this website to make finding these opportunities easier for everyone. We also want to encourage all generations to become more eco-friendly.
What it does
Eco-unite is a website designed to inform people about volunteer opportunities near them to help the environment and their community.
How we built it
We used HTML and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
At first, neither of us even knew how to code, so creating a website was extremely difficult. We had to learn how to code from scratch and the basics of HTML, which was challenging.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Since both of us had no previous coding experience, we’re proud that we were able to somewhat finish coding a website in under 36 hours.
What we learned
We learned the basics of HTML and CSS.
