Inspiration
So while brainstorming with my friends (we all decided to work alone since we were pursuing different ideas), something hit me. "Wouldn't it be cool if when you zoomed in, you could see the state of some place?" And so, I made this project.
What it does
You can use it while you're in Google Maps in a specific spot, and it uses those coordinates with a satalite data to give you the data of that spot along with interpretations of that data
How we built it
I used Gemini in the languages HTML javascript. CSS and I used a JSON file.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the AI part to work was a struggle, and for it not hallucinate was also a struggle. Even in the video, it shows the AI hallucinating, which was fixed in the latest version.

I am proud that this is my second extension and the first that fully works/
What we learned
A lot about api keys and more about extensions.
What's next for Eco-Scanner-Vision
Make it have more features and make it portfolio-worthy.
