You'll earn EcoCoins, a digital cryptocurrency, as a reward for these green choices. These EcoCoins can be collected and used as real money or for buying bus tickets and eco-friendly products and services. Plus, you can share your EcoCoins with friends, adding a bit of friendly competition to your green journey. The app includes carbon footprint tracking, so it watches how much you help the planet by making eco-conscious choices, including using public transport, and you can easily share your progress on social media to inspire others. By using our platform, you're not just travelling green, you're actively contributing to a more sustainable and eco-friendly future.
How we built it
Our website is dedicated to promoting sustainable transportation options, reducing carbon emissions, and alleviating urban congestion. Users will continue to enjoy features like real-time transit information, eco-friendly route planning, and seamless booking options that prioritize environmentally responsible mobility and include other benefits.
Green Transportation and Crypto Mining:
Here we are integrating the website with Green Transportation(eco-friendly sustainable travel method) and the pi mining process(cryptocurrency). While booking a trip on the website according to the distance traveled and user rating we will give them rewards. Using the rewards they can access the pi mining and collect the money or any prize. It encourages users to make eco-conscious transportation choices, such as walking, biking, or using public transport, in exchange for cryptocurrency rewards. This positive reinforcement can lead to a reduction in carbon emissions and urban congestion. The mining is controlled using an API or SDK to the Pi network. Cryptocurrency mining can enhance user engagement within the Green Transportation app Users may be more likely to use the app consistently, leading to more sustainable travel choices.
Financial Rewards: Users can earn cryptocurrency as they engage in green transportation activities. This financial incentive can make eco-friendly mobility options more appealing and financially rewarding, potentially increasing their adoption.
