What it does
Sadly, the program is incomplete. Goals were too ambitious, from adapting questions to detailed mood control for the cat. The program asks the user questions related to sustainability, then suggests tasks based on the answers to help the user be more sustainable in their habits.
How we built it
Through innumerous online tutorials, looking stuff up and learning a lot of new methods. We made as much progress as we could, despite our lack of knowledge.
Challenges we ran into
We didn't have a lot of time, and we are quite inexperienced. We couldn't figure out how to fix some the problems we encountered, and schoolwork interrupted a lot. Plus, no budget meant no servers, commissions, etc., which eliminated a lot of our ideas.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to self-learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript at a much more advanced level than we were taught. Also, we had to spend some time figuring out how to connect them together, as well as Python, to form a proper website, and did some basic graphic design and simple drawing/animation.
What we learned
Time and team management. We managed to set proper meeting times and workload assignments, a productivity we never really had, as we communicated better than I expected. We also, unfortunately, learned not to set too ambitious goals and deadlines according to our time, resources, and skills.
