Inspiration
Climate change and environmental degradation are often discussed in abstract terms, making it difficult for people—especially young audiences—to understand the real impact of everyday choices.
Eco Guardian was inspired by the idea that games can transform awareness into action by allowing players to experience the consequences of pollution, deforestation, and sustainable practices in real time.
What it does
Eco Guardian is a fast-paced, endless-runner style game where players take on the role of an environmental protector. As the player runs:
- Collecting trees reduces pollution and clears the environment
- Hitting pollution-causing obstacles increases emissions and fog
- Visual fog dynamically represents environmental damage
- Pollution level and score provide real-time feedback The game ends with a reflection screen that encourages players to think about how their in-game decisions relate to real-world sustainability.
How we built it
