Inspiration
We wanted to create a tool that would be able to track the temperature in real time and give the user tools and information to be able to help their environment around them.
What it does
We have programmed the puck.js to display the temperature in real time and get that data to match the weather api for your area. It also uses voice-to-speech and speech-to-text for accessibility, weather apis for data, and much more.
How we built it
We built it with regular HTML5 and also made an app to go along with it.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the Puck.js coded correctly, the css, and figuring out these unique API's.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting the weather and data in real time, and how user-friendly it is.
What we learned
We learned how to use hardware successfully, the APIs, and web-bluetooth.
What's next for ECO
We want ECO to give out as much information about global warming as possible, and also be able to make a product where you can install outside on different stations so that you can use this in your neighborhood.
