Eco Future AI

Inspiration: I wanted a single tool that turns everyday habits into real savings for both my wallet and the planet. Seeing advances in AI and low‑code platforms made me realize I could build something simple yet powerful in Bolt.new.

What it does: EcoFuturAI lets users log their daily transport, energy use, and diet, instantly calculates carbon footprints and rupee savings, offers voice tips and text recommendations powered by AI, and lets you share achievements as a custom badge or via email.

How we built it: Using Bolt.new, we defined a sessions table in Supabase, created forms and dashboards with built‑in components, and wrote lightweight workflows that call voice feedback, AI for text tips, and Google Cloud for badge storage. Offline data sync was handled.

Challenges we ran into: Making offline sync reliable without duplicates, keeping the AI calls fast enough for a smooth user experience, and getting the canvas badge rendering to work consistently across browsers were the biggest hurdles.

Accomplishments we’re proud of: We delivered a fully functional, AI‑driven prototype in under 48 hours, enabled true offline use with seamless cloud sync, and built a viral badge generator that users love sharing.

What we learned: Bolt.new can handle complex API orchestration and custom scripts, and small rewards like voice tips and shareable badges greatly boost user engagement.

What’s next for EcoFuturAI: We plan to wrap it as a PWA for push notifications, add community challenges and gamification, expand metrics to include water and waste, and localize AI tips into multiple languages.
