What it does
Eco-Friend has the potential to make a significant impact on the environment by encouraging people to adopt sustainable lifestyles. The application provides users with personalized recommendations and incentives to reduce their carbon footprint, making it easy and rewarding to make eco-friendly choices. Additionally, the community feature of the app promotes social awareness and encourages users to spread the message of sustainability.
How we built it
Front-end: React or Vue.js Back-end: Node.js or Python Database: MongoDB or MySQL Cloud Platform: AWS or Google Cloud Platform Other technologies: Twilio API for SMS notifications, Stripe API for payments and donations, and Google Maps API for calculating carbon emissions from transportation.

Tips and Recommendations: The application will provide users with personalized tips and recommendations to reduce their carbon footprint based on their activity logs. Rewards and Incentives: Users will earn points for their eco-friendly actions, which they can redeem for discounts or donations to environmental organizations. Community: Users can connect with other users in the app to share their experiences, learn from each other, and participate in group challenges.
