Inspiration
I’ve always been fascinated by how much our mindset shapes our relationship with money. While exploring manifestation communities and personal growth tools, I noticed a gap: most resources were either too abstract or too “get rich quick.” I wanted something practical, supportive, and gamified — a tool that helps people build a sustainable abundance mindset, step by step. That’s where Eclis was born.
What it does
Eclis is a daily companion for cultivating financial confidence and abundance thinking. It offers:
- AI-powered chats to gently shift limiting beliefs.
- Daily rituals and affirmations to reinforce money-positive habits.
- 28-day gamified growth plans with tasks and progress tracking.
- Visual analytics to track mindset evolution over time.
The app doesn’t promise instant wealth — instead, it focuses on daily micro-shifts that build long-term resilience and a healthier relationship with money.
How we built it
- iOS app written in Swift with SwiftUI for UI.
- RevenueCat for subscription management.
- Cloudflare Workers for backend.
- OpenAI APIs for AI-guided conversation features.
- Local-first JSON manifests for affirmations and rituals (multi-language support in EN/DE/TR).
Challenges we ran into
- Balancing spiritual themes with practical app design — avoiding overpromising results while keeping the experience inspiring.
- Optimizing AI costs for text features so users get value without breaking the budget.
- Building offline-first support so users can still access rituals and affirmations without internet.
- Designing UI that feels nurturing and mystical, while also clean and modern.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Shipped a polished iOS app in time for Shipathon.
- Built a structured 28-day program that feels both fun and actionable.
- Created a design system with consistent cosmic/abundance visuals across tasks and analytics.
- Learned how to combine gamification, AI, and spiritual growth tools into a cohesive product.
What we learned
- Community feedback is essential — real people helped shape which features resonated most.
- Clear boundaries around language (“shift your mindset” vs “get rich quick”) matter a lot when building responsibly.
- Monetization can be ethical — offering generous free features alongside premium content builds trust.
- Multi-language support is key — abundance is universal, not limited to English-speaking users.
What's next for Eclis – Manifest Abundance
- Launch Android version with feature parity.
- Expand the pool of affirmations and rituals in more languages.
- Add voice-guided rituals with better TTS caching to keep audio costs manageable.
- Introduce a Vision Board feature to let users visualize and organize their goals in one place.
