The inspiration for this project was that we wanted to do something on the Quality of Life pathway. We both realized we could help ourselves and other friends and maybe students with school-related anxiety or just anxiety in general, which would increase our and their quality of life a lot.
What it does:
This app, unfortunately for now, is a prototype. However, all the connections (going from page to page in the app) and other features like dark mode are still functional.
How we built it:
We built it using Figma.
Challenges we ran into:
Other than the fact that we couldn't figure out how to code it, a challenge we ran into was setting all the connections up correctly (took a couple of tries because there was so many) as well as figuring out how to incorporate a dark mode feature (not a fully complete one, but something none the less).
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
We are both proud of successfully finishing a project on time, as well as making all the art in a short amount of time and learning to use Figma quickly.
What we learned:
We learned how to use Figma, but more important than that, we learned not to bite more than we can chew. In the future, we'll set realistic goals (with obviously a little challenge to learn at least something) so that way next time we can actually create a project that has our own code in it.
What's next for Eclipse:
As our programming skills increase, we would like to be able to turn this into a real app, along with adding other features eventually such as reminders, accessibility (language translation for people who don't know English as well as automatic reading for hard of hearing users), and a refined user experience for the app.
