Inspiration

I got inspiration from TikTok, i would always hear about slowed and reverbed songs in my for you page. So i then began experimenting how i can create slowed and reverbed songs.

What it does

EchoWave allows users to import a mp3 file into the website then EchoWave provides users with a UI for testing different sound speeds, reverb levels and sound volume. EchoWave also provides custom presets for those looking to listen to music without the need of adjusting any levels. As well as listening to music users can also download the new mp3 file with the effects added onto it if they desire.

How we built it

I built it using Html, Css, Javascript, Wavesurfer.js and Jquery.

Challenges we ran into

I ran into the problem of how the computer can play the file that the user imported, it was really challenging to create a play function that plays when a user imports a file. as well as making the reverb and slowed down effects.
