SonicSign allows users to seamlessly transition from thinking about a document to sending it out for a signature, regardless of their location. It's a solution that fits in the palm of your hand, enabling you to conduct business, finalize agreements, and collaborate on documents from virtually anywhere in the world.

What it does

With SonicSign, you can create, edit, and tailor documents with the ease of a markdown editor. It offers an intuitive interface that allows you to quickly modify document content using familiar markdown syntax. But SonicSign takes document creation to the next level with AI document generation, where it can analyze your content and automatically generate explanations for your document based on your input and requirements.

But SonicSign doesn't stop there. It also keeps you in the loop by tracking the status of your documents as they venture into the world. You'll receive real-time updates on the progress of your documents, from the moment they're sent out for signatures until they're securely signed. This tracking feature provides you with peace of mind, knowing the current status of each document without the need for constant follow-ups.

How we built it

We built SonicSign harnessing the robust capabilities of Swift and iOS technologies, capitalizing on the powerful tools offered by Apple's development ecosystem. These technologies allow SonicSign to comprehensively understand and interpret user prompts and commands, making document management as natural as a conversation.

To further elevate SonicSign's capabilities, we seamlessly integrated Dropbox's Sign-powered agreements API. This integration not only enhances the app's document management capabilities but also augments the signature delivery process, ensuring that documents are securely and efficiently handled throughout their lifecycle.

Additionally, we harnessed the power of Google's PaLM AI (Pattern and Language Model) to augment SonicSign's AI capabilities further. Google's PaLM AI is at the forefront of language understanding and processing, enhancing SonicSign's interaction and document generation capabilities. It enables SonicSign to not only generate documents but also provide explanations and insights with unprecedented accuracy.

Challenges we ran into

During the development of SonicSign, we encountered several notable challenges that pushed our team's problem-solving skills to the limit. One of the primary challenges we faced was the lack of native Swift SDKs (Software Development Kits) for some crucial integrations.

In particular, when we sought to integrate certain third-party services and technologies into SonicSign, we found that native Swift SDKs were either unavailable or underdeveloped. This posed a significant obstacle as it necessitated extra effort to create custom integrations and adapt existing APIs to work seamlessly with our app.
