I wanted to build a simple personal assistant that helps people organize daily tasks and remember important activities.

What it does

EchoMind AI helps users manage tasks, set priorities, track due dates, and interact through a chat interface with voice input support. Tasks are saved in the browser, so they remain available after refreshing the page.

How I built it

I built EchoMind AI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. HTML creates the structure, CSS designs the interface, and JavaScript handles chat interactions and task management. Browser local storage saves tasks.

Challenges I faced

As a beginner, I faced challenges with the interface, JavaScript functionality, voice input, and saving tasks. I solved these challenges step by step while testing the prototype.

What I learned

I learned how to build a web application, connect its interface with JavaScript, store data in the browser, and troubleshoot errors.

Future plans

I plan to integrate a real AI model, improve voice interaction, and add reliable scheduled notifications.
