Problem
Many students across the world have felt overwhelming pressure to stay on top of their daily assignments and projects for school. One of the most persistent problems for students is procrastination, where students delay assignments until briefly before they are due.
Solution
In order to resolve the constant problems that students face everyday, I created Echolocate--an academic-based tracker that sets reminders for assignments, helps build study time, and helps organize student data.
Inspiration
I took inspiration from Gradeway---an app that imports grades from Home Access Center and provides data based on the provided grades.
What it does
Echolocate collects academic-based user input and creates a virtual calendar based on the said academic events. Echolocate is built with an exportable calendar, a study timer, a Q&A, and even a progress tab!
How we built it
Around 66% of Echolocate was built manually in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. The other 33% of Echolocate was aided by Cursor, an AI coding agent.
