What it does

Inspiration

EchoGlot AI was inspired by the need to make digital communication more accessible for Bangla-speaking users. Many people find it easier to explain their needs in their native language than to navigate English-first interfaces. We want to explore how voice-based AI can make customer support more natural and inclusive.

What it does

EchoGlot AI is a Bangla-first voice assistant concept focused on accessible conversational support. The project aims to combine voice interaction, language understanding, and spoken responses in a simple interface.

How we built it

The project is designed around a modular architecture that can connect a user interface with speech processing and an AI response engine. Our development approach prioritizes accessible design, free or local development tools, and a practical prototype that can be tested without depending entirely on paid APIs.

Challenges we faced

Key challenges include handling Bangla speech accurately, producing natural responses, managing latency, and keeping the experience usable on limited hardware and internet connections. We also need to evaluate response quality and reliability before expanding the system.

What we learned

This project highlights the importance of designing AI around real users, selecting practical tools, and validating functionality instead of relying on claims alone. It also provides a foundation for exploring how cloud services and language technologies can improve accessible customer support.

What's next

Future improvements may include better Bangla speech recognition, more natural speech output, additional languages, user feedback, and integrations with business support workflows.
