Echoes of the Past

Inspiration

I found some old public domain photos of my city (Deva, Romania) and I wanted to see how they would look animated

What it does

It shows a glimpse of my daily life in my city in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, showcasing the various changes the city has gone through

How we built it

Used Luma Labs to animate the old photos, added music made with Suno and edited everything in CapCut

Challenges we ran into

Sometimes the movements of the people and cars were unnatural

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The video was greatly appreciated by the local community and gathered almost 40k views on Facebook
