Inspiration

```As an international student, I've witnessed firsthand the profound impact that the lack of infrastructure and support can have on the LGBTQIA+ community in my home country. Many individuals face challenges in expressing their needs, finding understanding mentors, and accessing essential services that empower them to live authentically and with dignity.
This app is born out of a deep empathy for those who have struggled silently and a commitment to fostering a community where everyone can openly share their experiences, find solace in mentors who understand, and receive the support needed to thrive. It's a heartfelt endeavor to bridge the gaps, erase stigmas, and create a platform where the LGBTQIA+ community can stand united, resilient, and empowered.
Together, let's break down barriers, spark conversations, and build a world where every individual, regardless of their identity, can live a life of authenticity, acceptance, and happiness```
What it does
``` Connect with Mentors: "Find and connect with experienced mentors to guide you through your journey. A supportive community awaits."

Engage in Meaningful Conversations: "Match with individuals seeking guidance or offer your wisdom as a mentor. Together, let's create a space for meaningful conversations."

Support and Funding: "Seek support for your needs or contribute to someone's journey. Every donation brings us closer to equality and acceptance."```

How we built it

``` We used dart as a language, flutter SDK for creating cross platform applications and firebase for authentication, matchmaking, and so so on
Challenges we ran into
  1. Finding a perfect matchmaking strategy
  2. To have a clear and concise architecture that follows app guidelines.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
1. We created a matchmaking algorithm to fetch data from the questionnaire answers and based on the need matching the Mentor with respective Mentee.
2. We are really proud of Live-Chat we have implemented in the app for Mentor and Mentee```
## What we learned
```As this was our first hackathon and first ever app development experience, we learned a completely new language Dart, then how app development works, APIs.

## What's next for Echoes of Equality
``` Future work for Echoes of Equality is to add bunch of features:
1. Connecting with people from your area who are from LGBTQIA+ or people who support
2. Having a events page to tell about different events happening in the community near your area.
