Inspiration

I was inspired by my own struggle with mental health, and I wanted to tell a story using just AI tools from script to post-production.

What it does

It hopefully resonates with people not just visually but emotionally, and inspires hope to others who also struggles with mental health issues.

How we built it

We built this film using Gemini for script; MidJourney for images and additional editing; Veo/ Flow for most of the video and sound design; Runway for additional video; Udio for music

Challenges we ran into

One of the biggest challenges was creating consistency for characters, costumes and scenery.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The biggest accomplishment was simply making/finishing the film. The consideration from festivals and competitions has been a nice bonus too.

What we learned

We learned a lot, perhaps the most important lesson is learning when to step away and take a break.

What's next for Echoes in the Grey: The Stardust Drifter

Next for Echoes in the Grey: The Stardust Drifter had its world premiere at the end of October, followed by the online premiere in early November. We are currently working on parts 2 and 3 which will hopefully premiere in late 2025/ early 2026.
