Inspiration

Watching my grandmother struggle with dementia, forgetting precious memories of our family, ignited a mission: preserve human connection through technology. We built Echo to combat the crushing isolation felt by 500M+ dementia patients worldwide, transforming fading memories into lasting emotional comfort

What it does

Echo recreates loved ones' voices and stories using AI. Families upload photos/recordings → ElevenLabs clones voices → Bolt.new generates conversational memories → Tavus creates video avatars that "interact" with patients. Algorand NFTs ensure ethical consent, while Supabase securely stores memories

How we built it

Core AI: Bolt.new agents handling memory generation and ethics guardrails Voice: ElevenLabs API for voice cloning (5-min samples) Video: Tavus for personalized avatar videos Blockchain: Algorand NFT consent ledger Infra: Supabase (HIPAA-compliant database), Netlify deployment UX: React + MUI with accessibility-first design

Challenges we ran into
