Despite having more data than ever, we lack meaning.

This project started with a simple question:

What if AI could reconstruct your life into a meaningful, structured story?

EchoArchive was built to transform scattered digital memories into a cohesive, emotional, and interactive narrative โ€” turning raw data into a lasting legacy.

EchoArchive is an AI-powered personal data intelligence system that:

  • Converts unstructured personal data into structured life chapters
  • Builds an interactive timeline of memories
  • Allows users to query their past using AI
  • Fills missing memory gaps through intelligent interaction
  • Generates a complete, book-style memoir

Instead of storing data, EchoArchive understands and narrates it.

The system is designed as a multi-stage AI pipeline:

1. Data Ingestion

Users upload photos and text data.
AI extracts timestamps, context, and semantic meaning.

2. Processing Layer

  • Image understanding for scene/context detection
  • NLP for text interpretation
  • Emotion detection from inputs

3. Structuring Engine

  • Groups memories into meaningful life phases
  • Uses time-based clustering + semantic similarity

4. Interactive Layer

  • Memory Interviewer collects missing context
  • AI Chat enables querying personal history

5. Output Generation

  • Timeline visualization
  • Memoir generator (multi-chapter narrative)
