🐾 What it does Echaminya Guardian is a web app that helps pet owners: Create beautiful, smart pet profiles Launch instant lost pet alerts with location data Let nearby users report pet sightings in real time Use AI to interpret meows/barks into emotional cues like “scared” or “in pain” Hear calming, AI-generated voice guidance from ElevenLabs Watch a Tavus video AI assistant walk them through what to do step-by-step Upgrade to Pro Guardian via RevenueCat to unlock enhanced features and push reach Track all activity on a clean wellness dashboard Use a real-world domain like echaminya.pet for trust and shareability

🧱 How we built it We used Bolt.new as our main no-code/low-code builder for UI, logic, and integrations Firebase Firestore handles user and pet data with real-time syncing Google Maps API lets us send and display location-based alerts and reports We used OpenAI’s API for basic interpretation of cat and dog vocalizations into emotional categories Tavus adds an embedded AI video agent that dynamically guides the user through pet recovery steps ElevenLabs is used to generate friendly voice prompts that reinforce user actions RevenueCat powers our Pro Guardian subscription tier using Bolt’s mobile-ready paywall Supabase adds user scale and structured event tracking Deployed the app via Netlify and published on a custom IONOS domain using Entri

⚠️ Challenges we ran into Interpreting pet sound data with limited training material was challenging and required simplifying emotional cues Bolt integrations are powerful but required workarounds for chaining complex actions between APIs Matching the emotional tone of voice and video AI to a user’s panic moment took creative iteration Balancing beauty vs. speed in the UI — users need instant action, not a busy interface Making subscriptions meaningful without locking away essential tools like alerting

📚 What we learned Bolt is incredibly powerful for building real apps without writing everything from scratch AI tools like Tavus and ElevenLabs work best when used with emotional clarity, not just novelty Users want guidance, not just features — so walk them through emotionally intense experiences Subscriptions are viable if you focus on urgency, reassurance, and real utility Scaling with tools like Supabase from the start sets the project up for longevity

🔮 What’s next for the app Add NFC/QR pet tag syncing to match pets with their profiles when found Push alerts via SMS and email Allow shelters and vet clinics to confirm sightings Continue improving vocal AI and body language analysis Launch a mobile version with full functionality Expand internationally, focusing on pet-heavy cities and regions
