Eavesdrop

  This is the feed of activity that every user can see. It highlights the title of some events as well as when each post was made.

  This is the "Add Activity" button. Here you can specify what's going on and other important information.

  *Page not finished. This is the detailed view after the user clicks on a post they are interested in.

  This is the backend of CloudKit. It includes some statistics about the app.

Inspiration

Listing to random people talk about things I'm interested in.

What it does

Connects similar people who wouldn't otherwise meet.

How I built it

Lots of youtube tutorials, googling, and help from some nice people at HackISU.

Challenges I ran into

Not knowing how to code proficiently was an obstacle. At one point the app kept crashing and I couldn't figure out why. I had to break every connection and start over to figure out what was happening but I got it working again.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Making it somewhat functional. I almost gave up a some points. I learned a lot about Swift and CloudKit.

What I learned

A lot of coding related things. I'm better at XCode, Swift, CloudKit.

What's next for Eavesdrop

It isn't even close to being finished. I'll keep working on it because I've really enjoyed working on it so far. It has helped me learn a lot!
