Inspiration

Vutivi tried ordering at Exitangeni restaurant without success multiple times, he loves their food and was worried there could be more others deprived.

What it does

It's a food ordering app directly from the Ayoba app, it let's you make an order from a local restuarant of your choice and have it delivered to your door.

How I built it

  • There is a ayoba micro app client that make API requests for restuarants, menus, ordering
  • There is an API that serve requests from clients
  • There is a admin interface for administrators in restuarants
  • There is a food delivery app for agents ## Challenges I ran into
  • We couldn't send both restaurant and customer ayoba text messages from our number to confirm orders.
  • We didn't have enough time to integrate payments ## Accomplishments that I'm proud of
  • The microapp worked well
  • The API works well ## What I learned

What's next for Eatsy

  • We are gonna build the delivery system for delivery partners
  • We are going to fix a few bugs and start testing the prototype with a few restaurants, we are already speaking with two restaurants.
