The reason we decided to build this project is to assist minimum-wage employees, who work hard to maintain their lifestyle, especially during these times of economic hardships. People are lazy and are keen to do easy tasks, so we hoped our app would encourage more people to tip employees.
What it does
As the name suggests, the purpose of this app is to make the process of giving and receiving tips as simple as possible.Business owners also benefit since they will have access to feedback that the customers give to their employees.

Challenges I ran into
As a new team, we encountered many challenges. We used new softwares, and development environments such as the one built for php. Our project had lots of features, so we were confused at times about the merging of them. And one of the most important challenges we faced was time limitation: we could not finish the payment section of our app.

What's next for EasyTip
As we mentioned, our web app is targeted to restaurants mainly for now. Further modifications can include access to various barbershop and delivery business registrations too. Additionally, due to time limits we hosted our web app on GitHub pages. For access to different features like authentication, analytics and hosting, we could modify our code for use in Firebase. Even though we created a web app for access to a wider audience, it would also be a good idea to develop a mobile app version, since it has great potential as a mobile app for easier access. We also would love to have the chance to fully integrate PayPal to our app for a finished product.
