Our project was inspired by our own struggles with time management and organization. We found ourselves constantly juggling multiple tasks and deadlines, and wanted to create a tool to help others like us stay on track.
Initially, we planned to use a MongoDB database for the login functionality of our application. However, even with much effort, we were unable to implement such a database into our code, and we found this solution to be nonplausible. This setback forced us to think creatively and we ultimately decided to use local storage instead.
Through this project, we learned valuable lessons about problem-solving and adapting to unforeseen challenges. We also gained a deeper understanding of front-end web development, including HTML and CSS, as well as back-end development with JavaScript.
Building our project was not without its challenges. We encountered various technical difficulties throughout the process, including issues with API integration and debugging. There were even more problems throughout the event to overcome such as our lack of true experience with GitHub. However, by working collaboratively and utilizing online resources, we were able to overcome these obstacles and deliver a functional and user-friendly application.
In the end, we are proud of the final product and hope that it can help others like us stay organized and productive.
And in the future, I hope to reach a high enough level of proficiency in coding that I get the privilege to pursue the functionalities that we were unable to today, and I hope to further refine this project and publish it to the world.
