Inspiration

Our own struggle with recycling when we first came to Munich
The rising awareness of climate crisis

What it does

Instruction about trash sorting (separation), bulk trash dispose site and other recycling tips.

How we built it

With MERN stack and MUI, also with passion ;)

Challenges we ran into

We are not familiar with specific sorting ourselves, also it's not easy to settle on an idea, prototype, discuss and implement a first version, especially with proper work distribution among the team within such a short frame.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Nice UI. Though we didn't get to start the other two features we planned of, but we are happy with what we have implemented.

What we learned

The best and easiest way to get everyone on the same page, is to do it with concrete example. E.g. sketches, lo-fi prototype, or a small use case.

What's next for veRyEasy

Public open source data input about sorting and recycling, combined with gamification features
Cooperate with other brands to add recycle instruction QR code on their product/package
