Inspiration
We wanted to create an app that added inclusivity and accessibility for the people who require it.
What it does
EasyMaps is an interactive map tool that lets users view the map and search the map using a zip code input. when users input a zip code, it will show past latest reviews and lets the user input their own review as well. The review is based on how accessible, inclusive and safe the location is.
How we built it
By using leaflet.js, we were able to add the interactive map to the react app. using firebase, we were able to add a database that lets us store the reviews others have put. When someone inputs a zipcode, it will show past reviews, including the one the user inputs.
Challenges we ran into
firebase handling, layout, leaflet, git issues, minor mistakes hindered our ability to create this app.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to create a database that takes user input. We were also able to add an interactive map.
