Inspiration
Our goal was to create a language tool that's simple yet effective in bringing someone closer to fluency rather than simply making them memorize words which they won't need to use in conversation.
What it does
Easy Español helps the user learn Spanish in an efficient way by introducing them to common words in the language, teaching the basics of grammar, and providing "input" materials such as books and a video series dubbed in Spanish to help them get familiar with the language.
How we built it
Our application is built using JavaScript and React to create a simple yet stylish interface that provides access to different pages containing flashcards and other resources as necessary.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- Putting hours of effort into creating a full, finished, functioning product.
- The utility of our app, which can be used by a variety of people who want to learn Spanish but have not found a reliable tool to do so. ## What we learned

- How to implement bootstrap code into a project ## What's next for Easy Español As of now, the Easy Español library is viable for future expansion, with new categories being added in themed flashcards as well as more vocabulary words and grammar lessons being integrated as well. As more resources are compiled, book PDFs and videos will be posted as well.
