Inspiration

I fly drones, and I kind of couldn't believe this app does not already exist.

What it does

Keeps track of all the airplanes that are squawking and send you a notification when one gets too close.

How I built it

Tokens. Lots of them. And also constructing methodologies for testing and verification along with lots of manual code review.

Challenges I ran into

The scope of the project blowing up to the stratosphere in order to make something i would actually want to use.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Legitimately implementing every crucial element in the scope.

What I learned

That not even a separate 10 hour a day job can pull me away from a strange fundamental urge to make things for myself.

What's next for Flight Alert

I want it to be faster. 120fps faster.
