Inspiration The inspiration for EasyA came from a common frustration: every time I read a long article or research paper, I found myself constantly switching between tabs—copying text, pasting into AI tools, getting summaries, then switching back. This context-switching broke my focus and wasted precious time. According to Airia's own research, professionals spend up to "five working weeks" per year just reorienting after switching tabs. I wanted to build a solution that brings intelligence directly to where users already are, eliminating this friction entirely What it does EasyA is a browser-based AI article assistant that lives right where you read. With three simple functions, it transforms how you consume content:

  • 📝 Summarize: One-click article summarization that gives you the gist in 3-4 sentences
  • 🔑 Key Points: Instant extraction of 3-5 bullet-point takeaways
  • 💡 Ask Questions: Natural language Q&A about any article content No more copying and pasting. No more tab-switching. Just instant help right in your browser. How we built it I built EasyA entirely on the Airia platform using just my Android phone:
  • Agent Creation: Started with a new project in Airia Studio, created an agent with a carefully crafted system prompt
  • Model Selection: Chose Claude Haiku 4.5 for its speed, cost-efficiency, and strong text understanding
  • Prompt Engineering: Iterated through multiple versions (v5.00 is the final) to get the perfect response format with 📝, 🔑, and 💡 prefixes
  • Configuration: Set temperature to 0.3 for focused, consistent responses and enabled chat history for contextual conversations
  • Testing: Used Airia's Playground to test with real articles like the TeQ certification page
  • Extension Setup: Configured the browser extension capabilities in Settings Challenges we ran into Building this on a mobile device presented unique challenges:
  • Model Attachment: Initially struggled to attach the Claude Haiku model correctly, navigating through Catalog vs. Custom Model options
  • System Prompt Location: Took time to find where prompts live (in Prompt Library, then attached to model)
  • Agent Over-Cautiousness: Early versions kept saying "I can't verify this" instead of just helping with the provided text—fixed with stronger prompting
  • Extension Installation: Faced "Item currently unavailable" error in Chrome Web Store, so used Playground for testing
  • Duplicate Prompts: Accidentally created duplicate segments in the prompt builder, causing confusion until cleaned up Accomplishments that we're proud of
  • Successfully built a fully functional AI agent from scratch on a mobile phone
  • Achieved perfect response formatting with emoji prefixes
  • Zero context-switching required for users
  • Published version 5.00 that consistently delivers accurate summaries
  • Agent responds in under 2 seconds with Claude Haiku 4.5
  • Learned the entire Airia platform ecosystem through hands-on building What we learned
  • Airia Platform Deep Dive: Mastered Projects, Agents, Models, Prompts, and Extensions configuration
  • Prompt Engineering: The importance of explicit, directive language—"NEVER say X, ALWAYS do Y" works better than gentle suggestions
  • Mobile Development: You don't need a powerful computer to build enterprise AI; an Android phone with Termux and Chrome is enough
  • Model Selection: Claude Haiku 4.5 strikes the perfect balance between speed, cost, and quality for text summarization
  • Temperature Tuning: 0.3 provides consistent, focused outputs perfect for factual article summaries What's next for EasyA - Your Browser-Based Article Assistant Browser Extension Launch**: Get the extension working on all devices once the Chrome Web Store issue is resolved
  • Multi-Language Support: Add translation capabilities for non-English articles
  • Custom Domain Training: Allow users to upload their own reference materials for specialized summarization
  • PDF Support: Extend beyond webpages to PDF documents
  • Collaborative Features: Share summaries and key points with team members
  • Mobile App: Native Android and iOS apps for on-the-go reading
