Inspiration
The idea of EasySign came to my mind when once I had to sign a document but the text in the document was in pretty advanced Engllish Language, since English is my second language I had to use Dictionary at many instances. This experience made me want to create something that would make it easy for anyone to understand and sign documents, no matter what language they speak.
What it does
EasySign allows people to convert their documents in their native language to make the signing process much more easy. EasySign also allows users to summary large documents to make the process quick.
How we built it
To build EasySign I used Django as my Backend and Plain HTML/CSS in the frontend. The project uses OpenAI API in order to do the AI heavy lifting. I also used HTMX for AJAX.
What we learned
Druring the process of building this project I learned a lot about API integration, Django, and DropBox.
What's next for Easy Sign - Accessibility in your documents
EasySign can be a hub of Accessibility tools built for DropBox documents. From adding more languages to helping dyslexic people to sign documents using TTS.
