  DOP-eSchedule (Making RD(Recurring Deposit)-Indian Postal Services Schedules Easily)

Inspiration

My Mother is a RD agent and her difficulties in making Schedules is the Inspiration in completing the App.

What it does

It helps Postal RD Agents(MPKBY Agents) to make there Schedules Easily and also will help the Depositors to Receive message when there money is successfully stored in there Account,there by making them more aware and building the believe on there Agents(I have seen this problem with my mother and also with other agents in her community).

How I built it

Initially I took some Idea about how the whole calculations my mother does and then used it to build some Algorithms. Than I worked on the Android Studio Codes and linked it to Firebase.I have used Cloud Firestore as the database. I took some sample Accounts to check my app and then tried it on some real RD accounts of my mother.

Challenges I ran into

I faced problems in working with the documents of firestore and linking my Algorithm with firestore database.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud about my determination in building the App and the benefits my mother shall get from my app.

What I learned

I have learned a lot of Quires of Firestore database and differents Algorithms in java.

What's next for DOP eSchedule

I shall include the direct message sending ability and also forms for creating RD accounts shall be available online in my App.
