Inspiration During temple visits, many devotees face confusion while finding the exact routes. Especially in large events like Ujjain Kumbh, crowd navigation becomes difficult. I wanted to create a simple solution that makes spiritual journeys easier with technology.
What it does Easy Direction is a bilingual (HindiβEnglish) website that provides one-click Google Maps directions to temples. Each temple has a button with its name and image. Users can simply tap and get instant navigation.
How we built it We used simple web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to create a clean interface. Each temple button is linked to its Google Maps direction link. The website is lightweight, mobile-friendly, and works on any device with internet access.
Challenges we ran into
Collecting accurate temple locations and verifying them.
Designing a simple interface for all age groups.
Making the website bilingual for Hindi and English users.
Accomplishments that we're proud of created a fully working prototype that directly solves a real-world problem.
Made navigation easy for devotees in both Hindi and English.
Designed the project keeping the 2028 Ujjain Kumbh in mind
