Starting a few years ago, we had a lot of MMA & fitness professionals asking for a way to use QR codes to check customers & members in at the front desk of their gym or facility. Then, we started to get requests from Infusionsoft users in other industries... financial, legal, consulting, coaches, authors, speakers, etc. They, too, wanted to use a tool to easily and quickly check people in at their in-person events... and trigger a welcome sequence to the event. Even larger organizations like Digital Marketer were having troubles creating a simple and effective way to check people in at their events and provide up-sell opportunities at check-in.

So, we went to work to build something that would help everyone from MMA studios to organizations conducting large annual events.

We're proud of what we've created because it's driving results and a "wow-ing" experience: 1) Our customers love how easy it is to set up and use. They especially dig the up-sell capabilities available when checking attendees in.
2) Staff members doing the "checking in" love it because it's fast and simple. They can choose to use two forms of checking attendees in; either a free QR code reader on their mobile device if QR codes were emailed or sent to registrants, or a very simple & fast interface within PlusThis.
3) Event attendees get to avoid long waits at the registration/check-in area and get access to discounted products and services. And, they appreciate the welcome sequence that was triggered at check-in along with the event schedule, local restaurants, speaker bios and anything else pertinent to the event or helpful.

Easy Check-in was built into the existing PlusThis framework to take advantage of a familiar user interface and existing billing/customer support/account management systems. And, our 2,000 plus customers would have immediate access to it at no additional cost.
