Inspiration

The pandemic we are currently in inspired us to create this app. Furthermore, we had all learned about other famous health outbreaks in history and science classes in school.

What it does

Our app notifies people about serious health concerns around them. It sends the users a notification for certain alerts that are either very close to them, or those that put them in the high risk category.

How we built it

We created the alpha version of our app with Python, and now it successfully runs on PC and Mac. However, we are now expanding to IOS and Android to reach our mobile users.

Challenges we ran into

The one challenge we ran into was that Wix was down for a portion of the day on Sunday. However, we worked hard to combat this challenge as still ended up with a very complete website.

What we learned

We learned that if we work together, anything is possible. Furthermore, if we split up the work and everyone does their part, we can accomplish a lot in a short amount of time.
