Inspiration

The inspiration behind the creation of EarthGuardian Pro stemmed from the urgent need to address the escalating environmental crisis caused by carbon emissions. Witnessing the devastating impact of climate change on our planet, we felt the need to develop a solution that empowers individuals and businesses to take meaningful action towards sustainability. We aimed to bridge the gap between awareness and action by providing a user-friendly platform that not only calculates carbon footprints but also educates users about sustainable practices and facilitates access to eco-friendly products and services.

What it does

EarthGuardian Pro is a comprehensive mobile application designed to empower individuals and businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to environmental sustainability. The app offers several features, including:

Carbon Footprint Calculator: Users can calculate their carbon footprint based on their coal , gas , oil ,hydro , nuclear % emissions.
Information Bot: An AI-powered bot provides users with information about carbon footprints, sustainable practices, and other related queries.
Marketplace: A platform where eco-conscious consumers can discover and purchase sustainable products and services to reduce their environmental impact.
Leaderboard: A feature that showcases companies with the lowest carbon footprints, encouraging users to support environmentally responsible businesses.

How we built it

EarthGuardian Pro was built using React Native for the mobile application, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and a seamless user experience. We integrated various APIs to fetch carbon footprint data and utilized machine learning algorithms to provide personalized recommendations. The marketplace feature and leaderboard are feature in process it is not completed yet.
