Inspiration
We created an virtual reality skylar application on oculus quest in order to ensure that students engage with whats being taught and live science is delivered.
What it does
When the students enter the virtual environment they find themselves in a virtual classroom and the can teleport themselves to an under water environment to visualize aquatic organisms and have interaction with the aquatic environment. Student can enter a science laboratory where they can interact with data like this simulation that allows students to compare the protein content in difference fishes.
How we built it
We retrieved data aquatic data from an open open source api and the fields are called from a JSON request. You can click on the aquatic organisms to get information of this taxonomy and fishery management. students can learn with virtual simulation and solve micro task on fish classification and data analysis in other to earn rewards
Challenges we ran into
We are beginners in C# language for game development.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to have built our first prototype through the Stratis hackathon.
What we learned
We’ve gained hands-on experience through the workshops and we have seen practical ways to apply Stratis tools in the real world.
