Inspiration

GenZ tends to be financially illiterate and financial literacy is vital to the well-being of adults and their comfort. Especially when it comes to saving.

What it does

It is an informational website that has links to deeper explantation an information as well.

How I built it

Through HTML and CSS.

Challenges I ran into

We have only ever taken a coding class on scratch, and a semester-long intro to computer science basics with p5 last school year. We had to watch a bunch of youtube videos together the day before and there was still so much to learn while coding. We had a ton of bugs that we almost impossible to fix and glitches.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

That we coded our first website and attended our first hackathon. We learned so much and did more than we would've ever thought that we would be able to do.

What I learned

How to use replit and become more familiar with CSS, HTML, and fun things to do like webkit-sticky. We also learn more about the topics that we researched.

What's next for Early Finance for Teens

A new section for Student Loans, and a program that would actually be functional in teaching middle schoolers, high schoolers, and young adults.
