Inspiration
Working in Crowd management in Hajj for 2 years inspired us to create a solution to monitor the crowd automatically with the minimum human involvement.
What it does
Smart and Intelligent solution to crowd control the Hajj crowd. Also, it can predict the potential risks using Mashaar maps and Makkah map, with pre-defined solution to reroute the people and predict the bottleneck.
How we built it
We used ASP.NET to build Interactive web Application that visualize details of crowds collected from Cameras distributed along roads in Makkah, Mina and Araf
Challenges we ran into
Designing Interactive Map to plot the crowds movement and showing bottleneck areas
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Generate complex and smart SQL query for alerting on crowds collisions and help to control the pilgrims movement.

What's next for E005 - Intelligent Crowd Control
- Enhance the solution to fit the current situation
- Auto calculate path of Escape plane for group of Pilgrims in case of Fire or Explosion without congesting other roads
