Inspiration

Inspired by many anime titles, I wanted to explore what E.V.E: Every Voice Echoes might look like through a stylized, expressive medium I deeply admire. With access to Sora, I was finally able to visualize my world and characters in an anime-influenced format and experiment creatively in a way that wasn’t previously possible as a solo artist.

What it does

This short demonstrates what is possible using AI for cinematic storytelling and acts as a fast-paced teaser designed to spark curiosity and rewatchability. It showcases how the world of E.V.E can shift into different visual styles without losing narrative integrity. Through research, I learned that leaning toward anime may help elevate action, choreography, and emotional resonance—opening new opportunities that a traditional Western format may not reach.

How we built it

The entire piece was created using text-to-video prompting workflows. The generated footage was edited and re-structured in Adobe Premiere, then enhanced using After Effects for color refinement and light visual effects to unify tone and pacing.

Challenges we ran into

The largest challenge was adapting wide 16:9 generated shots to a vertical 9:16 format for submission. Many action scenes didn’t naturally frame within the vertical crop, requiring careful scaling, repositioning, and rhythm adjustments to preserve clarity and intention without losing energy or focus.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I’m proud of the speed and quality achieved as a solo creator, and that the piece proves the flexibility and durability of the E.V.E universe—able to exist across styles and formats without diluting identity. It validated that this IP has range and potential longevity across mediums.

What we learned

AI is evolving quickly, and embracing new tools early is essential. Pushing outside comfort zones unlocks growth, new storytelling possibilities, and opportunities beyond conventional production limits. Creativity paired with emerging tech can enable individuals to build what once required large teams.

What's next for E.V.E: Every Voice Echoes - Caliea & Forest Oil

Following the positive quality and reception of this experiment, the next step is to create more character-focused vignettes from other perspectives within the universe. Each short will serve to build curiosity, expand the world, and attract new audiences while offering deeper context to existing followers. These shorts act as narrative “echoes” leading toward a full pilot episode.
