Inspiration

The idea for E-Sanjeevni was inspired by the growing need for early disease detection and accessible healthcare support. Many people ignore initial symptoms or delay doctor visits due to lack of awareness, time, or resources. This project aims to bridge that gap using AI-driven pre-surveillance.

What it does

E-Sanjeevni is an AI-powered web platform that helps users identify possible health conditions based on their symptoms. It asks a series of smart medical questions and generates a preliminary health report including likely diseases, urgency level, precautions, and recommendations for doctor consultation.

How we built it

The platform was built using modern web technologies with a focus on clean UI/UX and responsiveness. AI logic was implemented using rule-based symptom analysis combined with dynamic question flows to simulate intelligent health assessment.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was designing an accurate and logical symptom analysis system without overcomplicating the model. Ensuring a user-friendly experience while maintaining medical relevance and adding proper disclaimers was also a key challenge.

What we learned

We learned how AI can be applied in healthcare for early-stage screening and how important user experience is in sensitive domains like medical applications. It also improved our understanding of problem-solving and system design.
