PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
MAIN IDEA - E – PROWESS is a website to help its users save energy resources at the home/personal level by giving them the features of self-reminders and schedule maintenance which will keep them notified about their daily and weekly energy usage. Our goal is to make users save energy in a fun, efficient and reward-oriented manner.
KEY FEATURES OF E-PROWESS - 1) Quick Schedule: The user can add a schedule for a device quickly without having to go through all the details. 2) Priority tags for schedules & tasks: Color-coded tags can be assigned to tasks and schedules to specify importance/priority levels like red for high, green for low and yellow for mid. 3) Progress review: Users can see their weekly report, amount of energy saved and tasks completed and will get awarded which will keep them motivated. 4) Suggested energy consumption hours: Our USP is to give system-generated suggestions for device usage hours according to the user’s device specification to ensure maximum optimality. 5) Set away and day/night option: Users can set ‘away’ mode devices if they are going out for a few days. They can set on/off modes for day and night as well. 6) Preset Schedules: Schedule settings can be saved as presets to reuse them for other devices. 7) Repeat Tasks: The task can be set to ‘repeat daily’, saving the user from setting up the same task daily. 8) Subtasks: Major tasks can be divided into sub-tasks and deadlines can be set for each sub-task.
